HMH Priority

Education and work readiness

Enhancing educational participation is vital for equipping young people with the skills necessary for future employment opportunities. We must improve access to quality education at all levels while emphasising vocational training programmes linked directly with industry needs so that youth are prepared for the workforce upon graduation. Identifying barriers such as socioeconomic factors that hinder school attendance is essential for developing targeted interventions aimed at increasing completion rates among youth. Partnerships between educational institutions and businesses can create internships or apprenticeships that provide practical experience alongside academic learning—bridging the gap between education and employment.
