Be Part Yoluntu NPC

Be Part Yoluntu Centre NPC and Be Part Research (PTY) Ltd are cutting-edge, community-based clinical research centres, having successfully completed more than 50 different studies involving treatment and vaccine prevention related to HIV, TB, infectious diseases, and lifestyle illnesses. We have also undertaken our own in-house research project. We recruit from a geographically (10 km radius) and culturally (Mixed Race and African Black ethnic groups) diverse drainage area. This area services 5 local public health facilities, with whom we have an excellent, longstanding working relationship. Beyond our Clinical Research output, Be Part proudly supports our local community through several empowerment outreach projects. These include support for women in their fight against HIV; the youth through various educational programs; the “Gentleman Project” aimed at optimizing health for young men prior to cultural initiation rituals; and emergency food relief. Our weekly After Hours Clinic provides voluntary counselling and testing. Our organizational structure is aligned with our objective of empowering the community through career advancement.
