ECD Footprints

ECD Footprints is a South African nonprofit company committed to strengthening early childhood development (ECD) as a foundation for lifelong learning, wellbeing and thriving communities. Our mission is to walk alongside ECD centres and practitioners, particularly in underserved rural and township communities, to help them build stronger, more sustainable and better-supported centres. We provide practical capacity building, training, mentorship and systems support to help ECD centres navigate compliance and registration, strengthen governance and administration, improve financial and operational practices, and access opportunities and resources. We also develop innovative, accessible solutions that respond to the everyday realities faced by ECD practitioners and centre owners. At the heart of our work is a simple belief: when we strengthen the people and places caring for young children, we strengthen the futures of those children, their families and their communities. We are building an ECD ecosystem where every child can flourish and every practitioner has the tools and support to make a lasting difference.
