Funda Kunye (Learn Together)

Funda Kunye is a faith-based non-profit organisation based in Hout Bay, Cape Town, committed to improving the quality of Early Childhood Development (ECD) in marginalised communities. Our mission is to ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their God-given potential through quality early learning. Our work is centred around four key pillars: Train – We provide practical, play-based training that equips ECD principals, educators and caregivers with the knowledge and skills to deliver quality early learning. Equip – We supply affordable educational resources, teaching materials, a nutritious breakfast porridge, and support to help create stimulating learning environments. Support – Through regular mentoring, coaching and site visits, we help ECD centres implement best practices and work towards long-term sustainability. Connect – We build partnerships with communities, businesses, donors and other organisations to strengthen the ECD sector and increase opportunities for children. By investing in the adults who care for young children, Funda Kunye creates lasting, sustainable change that positively impacts children, families and communities.
