Siyakhula Preschool

Siyakhula Preschool is a community-based early childhood development centre located in Umtshazafe location, Umzimkhulu, KwaZulu-Natal, founded by Mrs Balungile Janneth Sololo. Our mission is to provide quality, affordable early learning to disadvantaged children aged 2 to 5 in a rural community. We operate with 2 dedicated teachers serving over 20 children from poor families. We focus on school readiness, early literacy, health and nutrition and moral values to give children a strong foundation for primary school. As a nonprofit community initiative we strive to create a safe, loving, conducive learning environment despite limited resources. We are committed to an additional classroom to accommodate more children and ensure no child is left behind in education.
