TLC Outreach Projects

TLC Outreach Projects is a Cape Town-based non-profit organisation working with vulnerable children, youth, young adults, families and individuals facing social and economic hardship. Our mission is to create practical pathways towards greater stability, dignity, independence and opportunity through a combination of skills development, education, counselling, food security, preventative programmes and community-based support.

Through our Skills Development Centre and Independent Living Programme, we support young people with life skills, literacy and numeracy development, computer skills, work readiness, learner's licence preparation, counselling, family reintegration and pathways towards further development or employment. TLC also provides preventative youth programmes, gender-based violence awareness, homelessness outreach, substance-abuse support, food relief and community interventions across several Cape Town communities. Our approach is holistic and relationship-driven, recognising that long-term change often requires addressing multiple barriers around a young person or family rather than responding to one need in isolation.
