Overview The aim of the toolkit is to facilitate development of country-specific packages of antenatal and postnatal care that are in accordance with WHO evidence-based recommendations. This toolkit will encourage country teams to systematically review the WHO antenatal and postnatal care recommendations and adapt them to their context, and update their policies according to the WHO guidelines. The primary target audience for the toolkit includes policy-makers, programme managers, implementers and other decision-makers involved in the planning and management of maternal and child health services in their countries.
