Ghetto Rovers Youth Development

Ghetto Rovers Football Club is a registered Non-Profit Organisation based in Mthatha, OR Tambo District, Eastern Cape. Our mission is to use football as a tool to keep vulnerable boys away from crime, drugs and school dropout. We currently train 24 under-15 boys at Maiden Farm Development Field, three times per week. We are top of our local log and provide free training, mentorship, life skills and academic support. We target youth from disadvantaged township and rural areas who have no access to structured sport. Through discipline, teamwork and community service like cutting grass and cleaning our community, we build responsible future leaders. We have no sponsors and operate through volunteer coaching and community support.
