SaferStops Association

High-level description SaferStops Association is a South African non-profit organisation working to improve safety, dignity and wellbeing across the road freight sector. We conduct research, support improvements to truck stop facilities and connect drivers with safety and wellness initiatives. We recognise that freight transport also affects the communities along its routes. We would like to extend our work to include practical road-safety education for children and teenagers, helping them understand the risks around heavy vehicles and move more safely through their communities.
