Water Rollers Africa

Water Rollers Africa is a South African non-profit organization working to improve access to water at the household level through the distribution of EcoRollers—durable 70-litre rolling water containers that replace the need to carry heavy buckets. In many rural and underserved communities, women and children spend hours each day collecting water, often carrying 20–25 litres at a time over long distances. The EcoRoller allows up to 70 litres to be rolled on the ground, reducing physical strain, decreasing the number of trips required, and making water collection safer and more efficient. Working in partnership with local NGOs, community leaders, and Rotary clubs, Water Rollers Africa manages the ordering, delivery, and registration of EcoRollers, ensuring they reach households where the need is greatest. Our focus is simple: provide a practical, immediate solution that improves daily life, restores dignity, and frees up time for education, caregiving, and income-generating activities.
